New Smile Now is located in Chico, California, and accepts patients from across the North State region. Many of our patients drive from Oroville, Paradise, Red Bluff, Redding, and surrounding areas specifically because we offer full-arch dental implant procedures that are not widely available at general dentistry practices. If you are traveling more than 30 minutes for your care, our team will work with you to consolidate appointments where clinically appropriate.
For patients traveling to our practice from outside the immediate Chico area, here is what to expect:
Most implant procedures require two or more visits — the initial consultation and imaging, followed by the surgical appointment, and then the final restoration placement. In some cases, these can be consolidated into fewer trips. Our front desk team will review your treatment plan before scheduling and flag any appointments that can be combined.
We also offer a free initial consultation for new patients, including those traveling from out of town. If you are not yet sure whether implants are right for you, this appointment will answer that question at no cost.
Dental implant surgery requires specific training and equipment that not all practices have. Dr. Kevin Kremer has placed hundreds of implants and completed advanced training in implant dentistry beyond the standard general dentistry curriculum. For patients in smaller communities with limited access to implant specialists, traveling to our Chico practice is often the fastest path to a permanent solution. We also work with patients who have been told they are "not candidates" elsewhere. Bone grafting, sinus lifts, and other preparatory procedures expand eligibility for implants significantly. If you have had a consultation elsewhere and were turned away, contact us before ruling out the option.

Most implant cases require at minimum a consultation visit, a surgical visit, and a final restoration visit. In some cases, the consultation and initial imaging can be combined, or the surgical and temporary restoration steps can be handled in one appointment. Our front desk team will review your treatment plan before scheduling to minimize the number of trips required.
Yes. We offer a free initial consultation for new patients regardless of where they are traveling from. The consultation includes a clinical evaluation and a review of your options. Bring any recent dental X-rays or imaging from a prior provider to make the visit more efficient.
